Interpreter & Accessibility Services
Language Support
If English isn’t your primary language, we offer interpreter services in many languages — at no cost to you. Let your nurse know that you would like to connect with a qualified medical interpreter.
Support for Speech or Hearing Impairments
If you are speech or hearing impaired, we’ll provide an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter either in person or via webcam. We also offer:
- Telecommunication Device for the Deaf (TDD) phones
 - Closed-captioned televisions
 
Free Services for Patients with Disabilities
United Regional provides free aids and services to help patients with disabilities or limited English proficiency communicate effectively. These include:
- Qualified sign language interpreters
 - Written materials in accessible formats (large print, audio, electronic formats)
 - Qualified language interpreters
 - Information translated into other languages
