Community Event/Project Sponsorship Request Form
At United Regional, our passion is to provide excellence in health care for the communities we serve. As part of our commitment, we support organizations that promote health and well-being across our region. As a nonprofit health care system, we carefully review requests for financial and in-kind support. We consider sponsorships for relevant projects, events, and fundraising activities — whether initiated by our team or by external partners. Please fill the form below to submit your request.
Q. What are the criteria to request an event sponsorship?
A. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations classified as 501(c)(3), 501(c)(6), or 509(a)(1), as well as tax-exempt public agencies under Section 170(c)(1). Programs must operate within United Regional’s geographic scope, align with our priority focus areas, and meet eligibility requirements.
United Regional considers requests that reflect our passion to provide excellence in health care for the communities we serve, support organizational priorities and strategies, align with the Community Health Needs Assessment, promote economic and community development, and enhance community health and quality of life.
Q. What is the deadline for requesting an event sponsorship or community support?
A. Applications are accepted year-round. For community events, submit requests at least 90 days in advance. For large-scale events, submit by October for budget consideration for the following year. Early submission is encouraged.
Q. Can we use United Regional’s logo in our advertising?
A. Once sponsorship is approved, our Marketing & Communications team will provide artwork as needed. All logo usage must be pre-approved and comply with current logo guidelines.
Q. What other types of support can be requested through sponsorship opportunities?
A. Nonprofits may request in-kind donations. United Regional may provide promotional items such as pens, first aid kits, hand sanitizers, and bags for events.
Q. What is an EIN?
A. An Employer Identification Number (EIN), also known as a Federal Tax Identification Number, is issued by the IRS to identify a business entity. It is also referred to as a Tax Exemption Number.
Q. What are the communities served by United Regional?
A. Events or projects must directly benefit our service area, which includes Wichita, Archer, Baylor, Clay, Hardeman, Jack, Montague, Young, and Wilbarger counties.
Q. I am a faith-based institution. Can I apply for funding?
A. Yes. Faith-based organizations are eligible if services are provided to all individuals regardless of religious affiliation or participation in faith-based activities.
Q. Are there funding limitations?
A. As a nonprofit, United Regional prioritizes funding for initiatives that positively impact community health and wellness. We do not fund:
• Political activities
• Requests benefiting individuals (e.g., scholarships)
• Events or programs that do not improve community health
• Events of questionable taste or those that may harm our reputation
Q. May I apply for general operating costs?
A. No. Requests for general operating expenses (e.g., salaries, software, supplies, rent, utilities) are not accepted.
Q. How will my proposal be evaluated? When will I hear back?
A. Once submitted online, your request will be reviewed. A representative will contact you if additional information is needed. Decisions are typically made within three weeks. Due to high volume, not all eligible requests can be funded. You are welcome to reapply next year.
Q. Can I check the status of my request?
A. Yes. Contact the Manager of Marketing and Public Relations by phone or email at:
