Volunteer Programs

The United Regional Auxiliary provides philanthropic support to United Regional Health Care System through volunteer service and financial gifts. 

Since the 1920s, volunteers have offered compassionate care to patients, families, staff, and the community. Their smiles, encouragement, and presence make a meaningful impact every day.

Today, about 75 volunteers serve across the hospital. Over the past 20 years, the Auxiliary has contributed more than $1.5 million and logged over 760,000 hours of service.

Volunteers are essential to our health care team. They help create a positive experience for patients and staff alike.

To join, volunteers must complete a background check, attend orientation, receive a flu shot (during flu season), and commit to one year of service.
